Description

The position of Manager Specialized Auction Operations oversees and manages all areas/activities relating to auction site equipment standards & descriptions, equipment data quality control, auction sequencing, shoot price management, auction advertising, year verification, VIN management, & auction advertising. The incumbent will manage all processes, procedures, and SLAs for their respective region, with a heavy focus on process optimization and meeting SLAs. This position is the regions subject matter expert on equipment descriptions, standards, sequence, and other asset management functions.

The posted hiring range represents a general guideline; compensation will be determined using location‑based market data across North America and may vary accordingly.

This position is hybrid requiring in office days at one of the following North American corporate offices:

Responsibilities
  • Sale Sequence & Shoot Prices- Oversee auction sequencing and shoot price management for all site auctions held in the region (+10 sites US West & MEX or US East) ensuring consistency and that there is no overlap when multiple auctions are selling on the same day and time. Responsible for ring splits, choice & privilege and ensuring shoot price accuracy.
  • Pre-Inspection Quality Control - Oversee all asset pre-inspection quality control, fully responsible for all pre-inspection equipment data on our public facing website and biding applications.
  • VIN & Year Verification - Responsible for the year and VIN verification for all assets sold in their perspective region. Working closely with the ROMs to reduce year and VIN related collapses.
  • Auction Advertising - Responsible for the accuracy, capture and collection of all asset information for the sites auction advertising.
  • Responsible for successful execution and accuracy of the pre-inspection asset life cycle drives process and cost efficiencies further down the asset life cycle and directly impacts the customer experience on our public websites and bidding applications.
  • People & Process Management - Managing all processes, SLAs, expectations and Auction Operations Specialists. Manages customer and sales expectations on pre-inspection listings. Assists ROMs with year and pre-listing discrepancies.
  • Work directly with the Regional Office Manager, Director of Operations, and Sales Management for their perspective regions, on all but not limited to the above responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
