*This position will be based at our corporate office in Atlantic Station, but will require some travel to our clinic locations*
Responsibilities
The Quality/Safety Operations Manager – Physician Practice is responsible for driving and continuously improving
quality and safety across all employed practice locations. The Quality/Safety Operations Manager promotes a
culture of continuous improvement through use of Lean methodology, coaching, tools, data analysis, reliability,
sustainability and spread. Additionally, the Quality/Safety Operations Manager promotes and educates staff on
the appropriate use of error prevention tools, safety huddles, safety rounds and just culture. The Quality/Safety
Operations Manager ensures an environment of openness and a culture of speaking up. In addition to supporting
a safety culture, the manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with laboratory and radiology safe practices
and maintaining the clinical competency program for Piedmont employed physician office practice clinical staff.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred
Work Experience
- 5 years of hospital experience in safety, quality or performance/operations improvement required
Licenses and Certifications
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Professional in Project Management, Health Care Quality or other related certifications preferred
