About the Role
The operations manager is accountable for end-to-end operational execution of the Beauty business across brands and channels. This role will ensure reliable and
timely supply, inventory health, compliant distribution of goods to Gap Inc. channels in close collaboration with the Gap Inc. Supply Chain Team (incl. DC, logistics, transportation, etc.) and all suppliers (for owned products) and third-party distributors.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
· End-to-End Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the full product flow from supplier
sourcing, formulation, and packaging to distribution into retail or e-commerce channels.
· Inventory & Demand Alignment: Balance supply against demand forecasts,
ensuring the right inventory levels to support promotions, product launches, and
replenishment. Work closely with inventory management to minimize overstocks /
stockouts.
· Process & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements
(FDA, EU, or other market-specific standards) and internal quality standards. Oversee
documentation, testing, labeling, and traceability of beauty products across the supply
chain.
· Operational Reporting & Process Excellence: Ensure on-time production and
delivery of private label SKUs in line with seasonal calendars and launch timelines;
manage operational KPIs (e.g., OTIF, RFT, capacity utilization, lead time, COGS
variance, in-stock/DOH)
· Store & E-comm Operations Liaison: Identify opportunities to streamline product
flow, reduce lead times, and optimize costs (packaging, transportation, warehousing).
Implement process improvements, technology solutions, and best practices to make the
private label supply chain more agile and scalable.
· Timeline Creation: Working from in store dates to create end to end product
timelines that outline key milestones and stakeholders assigning deliverables to the
milestones.
