The Manager – Logistics Operations Performance & Analytics plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence at Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC. By leveraging data-driven insights and strategic collaboration, this position optimizes distribution and logistics processes. The successful candidate will partner with logistics leadership to develop models for continuous improvement, analyze market trends, validate invoices, and prepare comprehensive reports. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's logistics operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals.

 

Essential Functions 

  • Develop and maintain analytical models, produce details operational reports, analyze variances, and recommend corrective action to optimize logistics and distribution processes. 
  • Oversee direct reports, organize team structure, set performance goals, conduct reviews, and fosters a collaborative work environment. 
  • Utilize product classifications and sales/manufacturing forecasts to estimate operational needs and support strategic planning for logistics and distribution. 
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements within logistics and distribution operations. 
  • Partner with sales, purchasing, supply chain, and other operational teams to drive enhancements, cost allocation, and metric tracking. 
  • Analyze market and operational trends to provide insights on cost efficiency, performance, and overhead analysis for shipping points and trading partners. 
  • Build and oversee processes for validating third-party invoices, cross-referencing contracts, and sales data, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating resolutions. 
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, support operational teams, and oversee analysis related to vendor utilization of labor and operational spend.

  • Prepare detailed reports and provide actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to align logistics operations with business goals.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance logistics processes.
  • Mentor and guide a team of logistics analysts to ensure high-quality analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in logistics operations.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field - Required

 

Experience:

  • 5 years or more in Proven experience in operational analysis, preferably within a distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment.

 

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain management (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Coupa, JDE, and Manhattan Active software (Preferred)
