Role Title: Manager, Corporate Lending Operations

This opportunity sits in our New York office working for Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB), the division of Westpac, which services the needs of our corporate, institutional, and governmental clients.
How will I help?
WIB & Group Treasury Operations (WIBGTO) service customers across the New York, London & Frankfurt Branches providing operational support for Corporate Lending Products, and service support for Corporate Lending customers.
The Manager will develop a high performing team focussed on delivering market leading service for our internal and external Westpac Institutional Banking (WIB) customers, and operational excellence.
The six team members in New York perform Lending Service, Corporate Lending Operations, and manage limits in Credit Connect for our corporate lending customers.

You’ll be joining a highly supportive and collaborative team with international coverage during a period of Group Executive backed growth plans for WIB. You’ll be working in a collaborative and supportive team and work with senior stakeholders across our international offices. This is one of two positions we’re recruiting as we look to build our operations team in New York to support our regions.
Westpac in NY offer comprehensive range of benefits including flexibility and various leave entitlements. Fixed compensation range for this position is between $140,000 – 150,000 USD (depending on experience) + bonus.
What do I need?
Knowledge of corporate lending is beneficial
Operational experience would be highly beneficial
Ability to work on a variety of tasks and prioritise accordingly
Ability to make decisions and own them
Strong communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting
