The Role
Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, the Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining, organizing, transporting, and caring for heavy trucks and trailers throughout our dealership operation.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is comfortable operating commercial vehicles.
Transport & Vehicle Movement (Approximately 50%)
Deliver and transport new and used trucks to customers, body builders, and vendor locations
Move sold units and inventory to maximize lot space and maintain organization
Transport vehicles between dealership locations, service providers, fuel stations, and customer sites
Park incoming inventory in designated locations
Maintain accurate awareness of vehicle inventory and lot locations
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after transport
Lot & Facility Maintenance (Approximately 50%)
Maintain fuel, DEF, and fluid levels on inventory units
Wash, detail, and prepare trucks for customer delivery
Assist with yard maintenance including sweeping, garbage removal, and general housekeeping
Support the movement of inventory between lots and branch locations
Assist technicians and dealership staff with various labour-related tasks
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
What You'll Bring
Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence (preferred)
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment
