This position will help facilitate communication between manufacturing, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $90,000, which will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate shipments involving dedicated trucks used to transport finished product to various destinations within North America, including the accurate completion of all required official documents 
  • Coordinate air shipments of finished products to international destinations 
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients / suppliers to proper channels 
  • Accurately record PO receipts and outbound shipment details 
  • Reviewing shipping documents to ensure accuracy 
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary 
  • Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks 
  • Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data 
  • Track shipments through multiple channels 
  • Act as a liaison between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Freight Forwarders, Carriers and Custom brokers; communicating and troubleshooting issues, problems, and concerns. 
  • Understand the end-to-end Logistics processes, proactively identify gaps and develop solutions resolving the gaps with quantified deliverables. 
  • Schedule, track, trace and support shipments for buyers/contract manufacturing/customer service/engineering/laboratory etc. as requested including ensuring daily shipping reports are received from various freight supplies. 
  • Process parts returns of suppliers, including the completion of customs documents (if required), waybills, and arranging for pickups. 
  • Supporting purchasing in new projects department and working with suppliers to obtain and import material in a timely fashion matter. 
  • Strong working knowledge of cross border logistics including import/export and customs clearance, which includes but not limited to In-depth knowledge on Customs Regulations (Import/Export), and Incoterms. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Administration (preferred) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, SharePoint & Outlook 
  • 1 to 3 years previous experience in Logistics, preferably in the Manufacturing sector and/or in Supply Chain 
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in international shipping/receiving 
  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred 
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and time management skills 
  • Well-developed motivational and leadership skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
