We are continuously accepting applicationsThis position will be responsible for creating necessary shipping documentation to ensure efficient delivery of product both internationally and domestically. This position is critical to ensure effective and efficient flow of orders and inventory within the Distribution Center to allow timely and accurate customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
External Logistics Support (60%)
• Carrier communication – scheduling of pickups, pricing reviews and issue resolution
• Shipping documentation management – generating and creating all necessary documentation to support shipments both domestic and international
• Shipping claims support – take ownership for filing, following up and final resolution on all claims related to non-delivery and damage product
• International and domestic shipment support – arrangement for all international shipping documents, arrangement for container shipments and communication across the company on expected shipment dates and costs
• Inbound shipment tracking – monitoring international shipments from port to arrival destination including the support of backorder shipment planning activities
• Customer Service and CRM trouble shooting support and responses in a professional manner via email, phone and CRM system
Internal Logistics Support (25%)
• Pick queue management – working with internal & external stakeholders to ensure all orders are being processed in a timely manner
• Material Master management – supporting all updates necessary to ensure that inbound and outbound material data is accurate
• Scheduling of inbound containers – based on tracking information from inbound shipment tracking and in coordination with Receiving team ensure that inbound shipments are arranged for delivery based on timing and requirements
Facility Support (15%)
• Purchase orders to support Distribution Center requirements including PO generation for direct ships
• Data management uploads – support of facility communication boards
• Consumable inventory management – support fulfillment of all items consumed throughout the facility within budgetary expectations
CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Strong knowledge of current ERP system
• Working knowledge of freight carriers, domestic & international shipping guidelines and specific carrier capabilities
• Basic knowledge of Excel, CRM and Office 365
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High school degree or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years previous experience working in a logistics environment WORKING CONDITIONS

• Heavy PC use
• Daily and monthly deadlines
