Job Details
This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business
Responsibilities:
Develop creative solutions which are in line with the best interest of the client
Deal directly with everyone at all levels of the logistics chain: clients, drivers, customs, etc
Work with other logistics specialists in World Courier’s vast network of offices
Liaising with shippers, consignees, airlines, agents and occasionally other parties involved
Providing support to colleagues and internal customers
Executing planned logistics solution
Creating basic shipment orders
Following up on orders and working with colleagues to expedite and resolve issues
Pre-advising destination offices for shipments with special requirements
Entering clear, precise instructions in order file
Demonstrating flexibility in work schedule, WC is a 24 hour company will require overtime, holiday scheduling, and weekend shifts as necessary
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer care coupled with a High School diploma
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French
Creative problem solving
Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide
The ability to work with minimal supervision
Willingness to work on-site from 4.30 AM-14.00 PM and flexibility to work multiple shifts
The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
