YOUR DAY TO DAY:

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics operations through detailed administrative work, shipment planning, documentation management and coordination with internal teams and carriers.  The Logistics Specialist ensures that inbound and outbound shipments are accurately prepared, efficiently scheduled, and fully compliant with company procedures and regulatory requirements. 

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR/TO:

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments from order release through delivery confirmation, ensuring all logistics activities are properly documented.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs), shipping labels, customs forms, and packing lists.Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely staging, loading, and dispatch of shipments.
  • Track shipment progress and address delays, discrepancies, or exceptions with carriers and internal departments.
  • Maintain organized records, logs, and filing systems for audits, compliance, and reporting.
  • Select appropriate carriers and optimize shipping methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with internal policies, contract requirements, and applicable export/import regulations.
  • Support cross‑functional teams—including sales, production, logistics, and inventory—with accurate scheduling, documentation, and shipment coordination.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and administrative workflows.
  • Develop and maintain shipment schedules to align with production timelines, inventory availability, and carrier capacity.
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery windows with carriers to ensure efficient routing and minimal delays.
  • Plan shipment consolidation, mode selection, and load optimization to reduce freight costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Review upcoming orders to anticipate logistics requirements and adjust plans proactively.

     YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

    • Minimum 2 years experience in logistics or supply chain operations preferred. 
    • Experience in using MRP/ERP, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Educational background in logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
