Responsibilities
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for improvements to the product flow of raw materials through to the finished product delivery to the customer.
Communicate with Traffic Dept on appointment times for load tendering.
Complete regular reporting requirements in an accurate and timely fashion.
Review and respond to any inventory notes/cuts reports related to on-time delivery of stock transfers. Book appointments with Customer Pick Up Carriers & inbound loads.
Review and prepare release times for Tissue & Diaper loads as well maintaining on-line shipping schedule.
Work with the Logistics Leadership team to help automate and improve the functionality of the Raw Material and Finished products at the site.
Qualifications
Post-secondary Education (Diploma) preferred.
0-2 years' of relevant work experience.
Previous exposure to general administrative work in an office environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
