Responsibilities

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for improvements to the product flow of raw materials through to the finished product delivery to the customer.

  • Communicate with Traffic Dept on appointment times for load tendering.
  • Complete regular reporting requirements in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Review and respond to any inventory notes/cuts reports related to on-time delivery of stock transfers. Book appointments with Customer Pick Up Carriers & inbound loads.
  • Review and prepare release times for Tissue & Diaper loads as well maintaining on-line shipping schedule.
  • Work with the Logistics Leadership team to help automate and improve the functionality of the Raw Material and Finished products at the site.


Qualifications
  • Post-secondary Education (Diploma) preferred.
  • 0-2 years' of relevant work experience.
  • Previous exposure to general administrative work in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
