About the role:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods from suppliers to customers - ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance every step of the way. You'll make decisions with confidence, inform stakeholders clearly, and bring a results-oriented approach to everything you touch. From day one, you'll play a pivotal role in sustaining our 100% growth rate, and you'll always have a seat at the table to share your ideas.
What You’ll Do:
-
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process across the US and Canada, making sound decisions quickly to keep orders on track for quality, speed, fill, communication, and price - delivering the best possible customer experience.
-
Execute value engineering initiatives on transport with a results-oriented mindset, identifying opportunities to maximize order profitability and success on every shipment.
-
Negotiate confidently with nurseries and transport partners to secure the best terms, while maintaining the strong, reliable relationships that keep our supply chain running smoothly.
-
Organize and prioritize your workload with precision - managing multiple active orders simultaneously, following up diligently, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
-
Communicate proactively and clearly: keep upper management informed of challenges, risks, and wins, and escalate issues with the context needed to act fast.
-
Resolve post-order issues promptly and thoroughly, taking corrective action and closing the loop so the same problem doesn't happen twice.
-
Recommend and help implement process improvements that close efficiency gaps and protect revenue - always looking for a smarter way to get things done.
-
Support upper management with additional logistics-related tasks and admin when required.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail: you follow up, follow through, and keep complex workflows moving across multiple orders simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder communication - you can influence up, down, and across an organization, and you do it with clarity and confidence.
