About the Role

We are an established cabinet manufacturing company based in Monroe, WA, seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the integrated execution of cartoning, warehouse operations, transportation, and fleet support.

This role is responsible for ensuring finished goods move smoothly from production to delivery direct to the customer — safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Logistics Manager works hands-on across all logistics functions, leads diverse teams, and provides clear operational visibility to support customer satisfaction and business performance.

This position is ideal for a strong operations leader who enjoys balancing packaging, warehouse flow, transportation execution and oversight of fleet and drivers, in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Packaging & Warehouse Operations

  • Lead daily cartoning (final packaging of finished product for shipment) activities to ensure accuracy, protection, and readiness for shipment
  • Oversee warehouse staging, storage, and material movement to support efficient outbound flow
  • Ensure finished goods are properly labeled, documented, and released to shipping
  • Monitor labor utilization, workflow efficiency, and space management across cartoning and warehouse areas

Transportation & Fleet Execution

  • Coordinate outbound transportation using an internal fleet and approved third-party carriers
  • Support over-the-road shipping across the Western United States
  • Oversee day-to-day execution for DOT-regulated drivers, including scheduling and communication
  • Monitor service levels, delivery performance, and utilization of transportation assets

Safety & Compliance

  • Execute established DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety requirements
  • Maintain driver qualification files, vehicle maintenance records, and regulatory documentation
  • Ensure equipment, vehicles, and facilities meet defined safety and maintenance standards
  • Promptly escalate incidents, compliance risks, or audit findings to leadership

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support supervisors, leads, drivers, and hourly team members
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate logistics team members in accordance with company policies
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Address employee concerns and performance issues in a timely and professional manner

Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

  • Partner with Production, Sales, and Operations to align logistics execution with demand and capacity
  • Provide operational insight on timing, constraints, and service risks
  • Track and report KPIs related to delivery performance, safety, labor, and utilization
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles
Requirements

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading teams across packaging, warehousing, and/or transportation

Our Preferences

  • Experience in a manufacturing or build-to-order environment
  • Familiarity with Insight ERP

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to forklifts, material handling equipment, trailers, and delivery vehicles
  • Occasional outdoor exposure during yard inspections or vehicle checks
  • Noise levels moderate to occasionally loud; PPE required
