Job Description

Our reputable client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a one year contract position based in Dartmouth and ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, supporting multiple areas of the business, while contributing to both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Coordinate the shipment of products and maintain accurate records
  • Enter sales and purchase orders from customers and suppliers
  • Expedite purchase orders as needed
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects
  • Respond to customer emails and provide high-quality service
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office environment with strong data entry skills; previous experience in a logistics-based environment or role is a definite asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs, with strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn quickly
  • Adaptable, flexible, and coachable with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
