SALARY: Starting Salary Opportunity: $32,000 VACANCY TYPE: This posting reflects a vacant position. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor the execution of receiving, picking and shipment processes according to defined standards and targets. Improve operations by finding opportunities and proposing solutions using management system tools and methodologies to ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved or exceeded. Manage department resources and track via SAP and High Jump Managing outbound and inbound shipping at sites Check expected delivery schedule of raw materials to ensure materials arrive when scheduled and offloaded in a timely manner. Monitoring in transit report and update BOL filing. Assisting teams with various day to day logistics tasks. Leading improvement in line with various excellence programs Manage vendor payments, purchase orders and GRs JOB QUALIFICATIONS: University degree Required. Degree in Engineering Science, Operations Management, or Supply Chain considered an asset 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logistics background an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP is an asset Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Bilingual (French) an asset WHY LABATT: As one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, Labatt is a place where our people can bring out the best in themselves through a collective purpose of creating A Future With More Cheers.
