About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, shipping, tracking, and managing the movement of critical medical equipment across the U.S. This role ensures health care providers have fully functional units at all times by overseeing end-to-end logistics, maintaining accurate equipment records, coordinating returns and replacements, and supporting internal teams with timely communication. The analyst plays a key role in maintaining service continuity, equipment availability, and operational efficiency.
Equipment Logistics & Shipping
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment of medical equipment (ultrasound machines, interrogators,, accessories, PCA strips, supplies, etc.) between heroes across the U.S.
- Create FedEx shipping labels, track shipments in real time, and resolve delays or exceptions to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate returns, replacements, backup machine deployments, and time-sensitive rush shipments.
- Monitor equipment inventory and proactively ensure every hero has a functional, ready-to-use unit.
Operational Coordination
- Validate serial numbers, equipment status, and condition before shipment.
- Communicate with heroes, schedulers, support teams, and vendors regarding ETAs, shipping status, and equipment needs.
- Maintain accurate updates within internal system , SAP/ERP, Monday.com, and internal asset-tracking systems.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and protection of high-value medical equipment for safe transit.
- Inspect returned equipment, document damages, and initiate repairs or replacements.
- Follow internal SOPs related to equipment handling, storage, shipping, and turnaround.
Customer Service & Support
- Serve as a point of contact for heroes needing equipment shipped, replaced, or troubleshot.
- Provide fast responses, clear communication, and proactive follow-up to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Support new hero onboarding by coordinating equipment setup and shipment.
- Previous experience in logistics, medical device handling, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of FedEx shipping processes and exception management.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, ERP Systems
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage high-value medical assets.
$25 - $25 an hour
This is a part-time, onsite position in our Roseville, CA office.
