As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring the smooth execution of logistics from start to finish including regional lease fleet management, scheduling of mobilization & demobilization of products and services to/from site, being the main point of contact for all transportation-related inquiries, weekly inventory counts and reconciliation, fielding and documenting service calls, management of transportation vendor capacity, as well as other administrative duties.
This position reports to the Operations Manager. This is a full time temporary contract role for 20 months.
What You Get to Do:
Respond to routine requests from Sales on Equipment availability for pending rentals and sales.
Maintain fleet availability list and prepare yard fleet counts/layouts and fleet utilization reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
Coordinate equipment repair, renovations and upgrades and also assist with the coordination of field service work by responding to field service calls and determining appropriate course of action.
Manage schedules, routes, and timelines to ensure timely delivery and collection of rental items.
Complete and issue BOL’s (Bill of Lading) to transportation vendors, maintain transportation log.
Provide weekly updates to team relating to vendor capacity, determine vendor selection based on project budget, vendor availability, and schedule optimization.
Quickly and effectively resolve logistical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving transportation/ logistics issues, and providing exceptional service to our walk-in clients and clients on phone.
Data entry in CRM software and internal inventory management software as required.
Sort, scan and file documents as required in shared cloud drives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
2-4 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
Educational background in business administration, supply chain management or commerce preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communicator with a go getter attitude.
Proficiency in any logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive under pressure.
