GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

The Inbound Coordinator supports daily inbound warehouse operations by coordinating deliveries, communicating with carriers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring inbound shipments are received accurately and efficiently. This role includes both administrative and hands-on responsibilities and supports overall warehouse operations and service levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate and track inbound shipments, including live loads and scheduled deliveries.

    • Communicate with carriers and internal teams regarding delivery appointments, delays, and changes.

    • Monitor and respond to inbound-related emails in a timely and professional manner.

    • Verify inbound documentation (Bills of Lading, packing slips) for accuracy.

    • Assist with unloading inbound shipments as required, following company health and safety policies.

    • Receive and process return shipments.

    • Provide office and administrative support after 4:00 PM as required.

    • Release orders for next-day shipments.

    • Support receiving, staging, labeling, and put-away activities.

    • Maintain accurate inbound records in SAP, WMS, or TMS systems.

    • Identify and escalate issues related to shortages, damages, or late arrivals.

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and housekeeping standards.

    • Order office coffee supplies on a weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed basis.

    • Position requires shift flexibility based on business needs.

  • Provides general support and project administration as required to ensure effective site operations.

EDUCATION: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics and/ or distribution capacity or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working on the warehouse floor is preferred.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrates pride in work and ensures accuracy.
  • Proven strength in customer service to meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Willingness to provide support; demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
  • Proficiency with technology systems and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Inventory applications, freight/carrier sites, etc.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: 

  • The annual salary for applicants in this position generally ranges between $54,384.00 - $67,980.00, plus a 7% bonus potential. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
