Queen’s NAYGN is dedicated to providing students attending Queen’s University with the opportunity to learn about nuclear science and connect students with industry leaders. Queen’s NAYGN achieves this goal through hosting various events throughout the school year with industry leaders (OPG, Candu Energy, Kinectrics, etc.), and collaborating with nuclear organizations, such as the Queen’s MAX Nuclear graduate research group. By hosting keynote speaker presentations, industry nights, facility tours, and other events; Queen’s NAYGN will continue to bring awareness to the nuclear sciences at Queen’s University.
Queen’s NAYGN is looking for individuals to assist in our mission and contribute to our cause in a leadership role. The Logistics and Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Logisitics and Operations Director with planning the various events hosted throughout the school year. This position is targeted at students who are interested in managing multiple aspects of an event and improving their professional development skills.
