Job Title: Logistics Analyst Intern

Location: Kingsville, ON - On Site

Duration: 10 Weeks

Spring Internship Cycle: January-April

Mastronardi offers a structured, 10-week internship program that runs three times per year, during the Spring, Summer and Fall. This internship provides students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from industry professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate transportation and distribution performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop and maintain logistics reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management to review.
  • Help identify trends or inefficiencies by using Excel or other analytical tools.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Help track carrier performance, shipment schedules, and delivery accuracy.
  • Learn and use logistics systems such as ERP and TMS.
  • Assist with data entry, data validation, and basic system testing.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Work with operations, procurement, warehousing, and customer service teams to gather information and support logistics activities.

      Education/Background Requirements:

      • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

      Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
      • Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. 
      • Detail-oriented with a data-driven mindset.
      • Collaboration, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.
