POSITION SUMMARY

Supervises Loan Operations staff effectively and efficiently. Work in collaboration with the Director of Loan Operations to oversee loan operations duties including but not limited to: loan compliance, processes and procedures, oversight of loan audits and documentation, assure that Community Reinvestment Act loan activities are performed, and the bank’s day-to-day loan operations functions are completed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 


  1. Supervise and coordinate loan operations staff in their respective location, providing leadership, training, performance feedback, and ongoing guidance to ensure effective operations and compliance.
  2. Provide updates and training to department staff to ensure they are kept up to date on all processes and procedures and compliance related items.  
  3. Ensure all training and procedure documents are kept up to date.  
  4. Communicate effectively with team members to divide daily workload, resolve issues and make procedure adjustments as needed in collaboration with the Director of Loan Operations.  
  5. Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining loan operations processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all loan-related banking regulations.   
  6. Work closely with all necessary loan personnel to ensure they comply with all loan operations processes and procedures.
  7. Knowledgeable of all loan software and assists the Director of Loan Operations by having administrative rights in necessary programs.  
  8. Assist with Implementing, testing, and updating loan software as needed and ensure these changes are communicated to appropriate staff.  
  9. Oversee and assist with completing complex loan operations duties and ensure accuracy and timeliness.  
  10. Work with CRA Officer and Director of Loan Operations to implement, train, and complete processes and procedures to carry out CRA requirements for community development loan activities.  
  11. Collaborate with the Director of Loan Operations to ensure loan audits and documentation requirements are met.  
  12. Assists with the loan segment of periodic audits/exams as requested.  
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field preferred.


Experience: Three or more years of banking, loan operations, or related experience.  


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None


Computer Skills: 

Proficiency in the use of basic office equipment, keyboarding, Office 365, web-based software, banking software, and overall computer navigation.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires supervision of others.  


Salary Description
$51,750 - $60,900/year
