Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days. During your onsite days you will work at the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building located at 201 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80202. Office hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
What We Are
The Municipal Operations provides full-service legal representation and advice to City officials, agencies, and employees in the areas of general municipal law, construction contracts, procurement, government contracting, tax, municipal finance, bankruptcy, real estate, land use, housing, environmental regulation and compliance, elections, and commercial litigation. This section offers a steady stream of clients with an incredible variety of legal needs. The successful candidate will primarily represent the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, as well as the Department of Finance and Real Estate Section. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction procurement, construction bid issues, and construction contracting. Additional experience in government finance issues, the legislative process, and general municipal law is preferred.
