Fountain Tire Winnipeg (Distribution Centre) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Shipper/Receiver!

You will be responsible for:

• Lead the shipping and receiving operations of the distribution centre
• Coordinate the preparation, loading, transportation, and tracking of outgoing products to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Maintain shipping accuracy, inventory control, quality standards, and shipping schedules for large orders while resolving shipment discrepancies as required
• Ensure end to end warehouse processes are followed and completed by warehouse associates
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing training, feedback, and communication

What does it take to get on track?

• Completion of a high school diploma and 2 + years of experience in the distribution industry in a leadership role
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to consistently lift 50 kilograms
• Intermediate computer skills
• A customer service focus with the ability to meet deadlines and provide solutions to sensitive matters
