Description

Responsible for all of the Division Operational Plans. Direct and supervise actives of the following teams: Asset Protection, Operations team, and direct and supervise activities of the District Sales managers. Champion and lead strategic change to improve effeciencies and partner with corporate leaders to create a distinct competitive advantage and enhance the company's position in jewelry retail. Identify areas that will enhance the customers shopping experience while demonstrating the companies core vales of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Make recommendations to Vice President of Fred Meyer Jewelers and lead implementation of projects as product managers for all operational systems. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. 



Responsibilities
  • Develop long range goals and objectives related to company operations, identified programs, customer financing and business continuity plan
  • Inspect facilities conditions, customer service performance, and operating procedures to identify deficiencies and opportunities.
  • Oversee the design/installation of processes as product manager for supported systems.
  • Maintain current awareness of all merchandising and operations standards and requirements.
  • Provide Customer Service, including and demonstrating and recognizing Service Plus actions
  • Travel to districts, regions, stores, and vendor sites to evaluate operations.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Participate in preparing and reviewing analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives
  • Effectively lead team in meetings and coordinate activities within the Operations group for which responsibility is delegated for further attainment of goals and objectives
  • Initiate documents and maintain effective communication of policy procedures and programs that increase profitability and facilitate effective execution of strategy and performance of personnel
  • Articulate the company's mission concisely that speaks to customer and associates at all levels.
  • Determine and verify effective installation of operational standards for stores and facilities conditions and performance which conform to corporate divisional standards; maintain continuous execution once implemented.
  • Partner with enterprise contacts to deliver problem resolution, optimum service, and continued improvement.
  • Develop and lead effective operational short and long term plans to exceed customer expectations and comply with all government laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience (2 years regional sales manager experience, 2 years manager of operations experience, and 2 years personnel management experience); or combination of relevant education and experience

  • Excellent leadership and project and product management skills
  • Ability to set high goals for personal and group accomplishments and to monitor progress towards goals attainment; ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to achieve a satisfactory level and technical and professional skills or knowledge in position and/or related areas; keep up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise
