POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the CIO, the IT Senior Manager; Operations & Security is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, post-acquisition integration, and continuous improvement of the organization’s core IT services.  This role oversees enterprise network and infrastructure platforms, cybersecurity operations, and end-user support services, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and exceptional service delivery. The IT Sr Manager; Operations & Security partners closely with business leaders and IT peers, fostering a continuous-improvement culture, to align technology capabilities with organizational goals, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards. This position combines people leadership, vendor management, and hands-on oversight in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for Network, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Help Desk functions
  • Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps aligned with business priorities, risk posture, and technology strategy, while establishing and tracking KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to ensure service quality and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network, server, storage, cloud, and data center environments
  • Lead infrastructure modernization efforts, including cloud adoption, virtualization, and automation initiatives
  • Own the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and operational execution, such as: overseeing security architecture, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation activities
  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team of Help Desk and end-user support to deliver reliable, timely, and customer-focused IT services
  • Establish and maintain support processes, escalation paths, and service management best practices
  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure, security, and end-user services
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing related to infrastructure, network, and help desk services

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience across infrastructure, network, security, or end-user services
  • 4+ years of experience in an IT leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale IT environments and support organizations
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and risk management practices
  • Demonstrated experience integrating sites into a standard network, infrastructure, cyber and help desk platforms
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and deliver complex initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, ITIL, Azure/AWS certifications, or similar Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience
  • Experience working in mid-sized, high-growth organizations
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and modern service management platforms
