Responsibilities

Berkley Custom Insurance Managers is looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic that can thrive in a team environment as well as independently. As an IT Intern, you will collaborate closely with our team of software developers and business analysts. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in application development and data analysis while contributing to the design and implementation of software solutions. Key functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of basic scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies in business processes. 
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Participate in the testing and debugging of new software and systems.
  • Document and maintain software functionalities. 
  • Support the IT team in daily administrative tasks. 
  • Attend team meetings to discuss projects and report progress. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. 
  • Experience on SQL and Relational Databases 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Eagerness to learn new technologiesand a strong interest in IT and software development.
  • Prior internship or project experience in IT or a related field is aplus, but not .
