Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist (1) will provide accurate and timely accounting of inventory activities across the organization in particular Packaging.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Tracking of all Package materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and office related stock.
  • Monitor and track Finished product delivered. Review incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Order materials as needed (packaging as main Task, Other material base on the training).
  • Calculate the CHEP pallets required every week, pallets used, and book loads as per requirement.
  • Cancel and modify pallet loads when needed.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers as needed
  • Prevent shortages of supply or manage unexpected shortages
  • Create, update, and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with information.
  • Plan/supervise/schedule/execute an on-going daily physical inventory of fixed assets by the inventory department.
  • Assure that transfers between departments are tacked and processed. Maintain records of all transfer transactions. Track and perform the disposal of products as per Company regulations.
  • Digitally manage inventory and create inventory reports. Coordinate and submit timely and accurate inventory reports. Track inventory in a daily/weekly report. Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data. Track inventory adjustments daily. Collect data based on supply information, and create a plan based on your findings.
  • Conduct periodic spot checks of warehouse excess and conduct a formal inventory at least once annually.
  • Conduct maintenance on Pro-trace system and develop the SOP and Training plan. Provide relevant training to users.
  • Changing product descriptions and label descriptions when required.
  • Add products to the runs for the upcoming days.
  • Add new customers, destinations, and carriers into the WMS to produce BOLs.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned during fresh season and/or to cover other Departments within inventory and planning as needed.
