Overall Responsibility:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of Cycle Count/Physical Inventory protocols and processes. CMS Set up for new parts and programs, coordinate material flow within software systems with planning and scheduling teams & pallet inventory and drive packaging enhancements for operational efficiency.
Accountabilities:
Owns the process of daily cycle counts; coil audits; reconciled variances
Owns the application and implementation of Physical Inventory procedures.
Executes the maintenance and accuracy of the inventory management with system procedures and work instructions
Advises or requests from MIS group appropriate system updates to suit department Requirements
Works on problems of where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable inventory corrective actions. Exercises judgment within procedures and practices to determine the appropriate actions.
Coordinate material flow within software systems (CMS expert) with planning and scheduling teams
Maintains an accurate record of cycle count audit and determine measurable tracking. 100% Inventory Accuracy Performance and tracking
Scrap/yield analysis by part/press, reporting & reconciliation
Ensure correct Shipping and Receiving process for inventory accuracy including Customer Returns and disposition of inventory
Conducts data cleaning to ensure obsolete, quality issues and redundant inventory is dispositioned.
Attends new Program meetings for new requirements that affect inventory movements.
Receives Engineering Change Notice Documentation (ECN’s), Engineering Deviation Requests (EDR’s) from engineering and ensure inventory changes are tracked and processed correctly on the floor through inventory management.
Identifies, documents and tracks disposition of all obsolete or expired inventory items in CMS and advises "Master Data Analyst" Corporate to make appropriate changes.
Identifies, documents and receives approval for disposition of all inventory counts and ensures 100% accuracy of CMS perpetual Inventory
Analyzes the BOM for products to ensure accuracy of the structure of the BOM. Auditing all parts once per year
Reviews with production, quality control, purchasing and the materials transaction to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
Fulfill the Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities identified in the Canadian HSE Management Standards and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Management Systems.
Fulfill the Quality Management System responsibilities identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map.
Fulfill the responsibilities as identified in the Employee Handbooks.
Other duties as assigned.
