The Opportunity

This is an exciting paid internship opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic scale-up environment. As a Field Operations & Customer Success Intern, you will play a key role in executing serviced trials for both new and existing Aerobotics customers. You will be actively involved in on-farm data collection, trial execution, and operational support, helping ensure new and existing customers get meaningful value from our technology.

This is a highly practical, field-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with growers, and learning by doing so you will need to be based in California. You will gain first-hand exposure to how advanced AI technology is applied in real agricultural environments, with clear opportunities to grow your responsibilities over time. 



What you’ll do

Customer Trials & Field Execution:

  • Drive the execution of serviced trials with growers, packhouses, and fruit companies
  • On-farm data collection using Aerobotics’ mobile tools
  • Ensure trials are run accurately, consistently, and according to best practice

Operational Support:

  • Carry out key operational activities that support customer success during the season
  • Help prepare trial outputs, summaries, and basic reporting for internal teams
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for field visits and customer engagements

Customer & Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams
  • Support communication between customers and internal stakeholders
  • Gain exposure to customer onboarding, seasonal workflows, and post-trial follow-ups

Learning & Growth:

  • Learn how AI-driven insights are used to influence real farming decisions
  • Build a strong understanding of fruit production cycles and operational challenges
  • Gradually take on increased responsibility as skills and confidence grow



What you’ll need

  • Strong interest in agriculture, AgTech, or field-based work
  • Willingness to travel regularly to farming regions across California
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in operational farm environments
  • Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Organized, reliable, and able to follow processes carefully
