We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Intermediate Media Planner/Buyer Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team at a leading marketing agency with a strong focus on entertainment clients. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping and executing integrated media strategies that drive performance and exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, skilled in negotiation, and fluent in both traditional and digital media platforms, with a passion for delivering measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Strong client communication skills managing day-to-day communication internally and externally.
Strategic mindset developing full funnel media plans (online and offline).
Manage campaign budgets across all online and offline channels.
Day to day campaign management with a strong focus on reporting and optimization.
Campaign maintenance ensuring quality control and adherence to overall media plan objectives.
Monitor and manage the traffic flow of media assets within the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.
Creative and problem-solving mindset with the ability to make adjustments and optimizations in an efficient manner to ensure we are consistently hitting clients’ sales targets.
Consistently seeking new opportunities for optimizations by staying on top of market trends.
Actively participate in all status meetings, internal and external.
Knowledge of syndicated media, research, and other data resources.
Take an active role in client education of the evolution of the media landscape.
Qualifications:
2-3 years experience planning online and offline channels with emphasis on traditional media.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience in negotiation.
Able to work successfully within a team, with experience multitasking multiple projects.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources.
$65,000 - $70,000 a year
The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $65,000–$70,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training. This range reflects base salary only and does not include eligibility for bonus program or other benefits.
