Job Title:  Intercompany Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Shelbyville, Tennessee 

Overview of Role: 

The Intercompany Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating material transfers between Warehouse A (Sharpie Way) and Warehouse B (Blue Ribbon). This role ensures timely preparation, shipment, tracking, and confirmation of inter-organization material movements while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with logistics and warehouse teams.

What you will do:

 

  • Plan and coordinate inter-warehouse material transfers to ensure on-time availability.
  • Prepare and verify materials for shipment from Warehouse A to Warehouse B.
  • Communicate detailed shipment requirements to the logistics team (quantities, timelines, special handling, documentation).
  • Ensure all materials are properly packed, labeled, and documented prior to shipment.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
  • Confirm receipt of materials at Warehouse B and reconcile quantities against shipping documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Maintain accurate transfer records within ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse, supply chain, and logistics teams to optimize transfer processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and intercompany logistics.
  • Maintain organization of Warehouse A to ensure efficient flow of materials to Warehouse B. 

What we need from you:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong organizational and tracking skills.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
