• Hourly salary of $28 to $32, based on experience.

• 6 -month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

• Full -time position: 37.50 hours per week.

• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

• Hybrid role: on -site Tuesdays to Thursdays in Toronto or Waterloo.

Responsibilities:
<\/b><\/div>

<\/div>
• Gather financial inputs such as bond yields, FX rates, equity index values, and stock prices from various sources daily, ensuring accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
<\/div>
• Run and upload Universal Life crediting rates into administrative systems supporting over $8B in assets under management.
<\/div>
• Validate accurate upload of rates across seven administrative systems.
<\/div>
• Prepare and publish weekly and monthly marketing materials related to crediting rates for advisor and client portals.
<\/div>
• Support manual processes including data gathering, rate calculation, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
<\/div>
• Act as liaison for rate -crediting issues and delays, ensuring timely resolution.
<\/div>
• Assist in training and supporting team members; review and validate their work.
<\/div>
• Manage shifting deliverables in a dynamic data environment.
<\/div>
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
<\/div>
• Support vendor management processes.
<\/div>
• Perform internal testing and quality assurance to ensure workflow integrity.
<\/div>
• Maintain and update departmental documentation, procedures, and job aids.
<\/div>
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems and implement corrective actions.
<\/div>

What you will need to succeed:
<\/b><\/div>

<\/div>
• A university or college degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Mathematics, preferred, or equivalent work experience.
<\/div>
• 1 year of experience in a processing or operations role; relevant internships considered.
<\/div>
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Macros.
<\/div>
• Ability to work overtime as required.
<\/div>
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
<\/div>
• Effective data gathering, analytical, and problem -solving skills.
<\/div>
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
<\/div>
• Adaptability to changing business needs.
<\/div>
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
<\/div>
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
<\/div>
• Experience with SQL, VBA, or Power Query is an asset.
<\/div>
• Background in computer science or exposure to technical systems is beneficial.
<\/div>
• Experience in a financial services or insurance environment is a plus.
<\/div>
