Healthcare Operations & Compliance Consultant (Multi-State)

About the Role:
We help healthcare agencies launch, stay compliant, and grow.

Safro Staffing & Consulting is looking for an experienced consultant who can take a client from signed to operational without hand-holding. This role is focused on execution.

Responsibilities:

• Run consulting projects end-to-end (startup, licensing, compliance)
• Research and apply state-specific requirements quickly and accurately
• Prepare policies, procedures, and submission documents
• Deliver complete, submission-ready documentation (policies, applications, checklists)
• Manage timelines, applications, and follow-ups with state agencies
• Ensure projects move from signed to operational within agreed timelines
• Lead client calls and keep projects moving
• Identify issues early and resolve them independently
• Maintain clear documentation and provide proactive updates

Requirements:

• 5+ years in healthcare operations (Home Health, Hospice, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with licensing, surveys, and compliance
• Required: CHAP and/or ACHC accreditation experience
• Proven experience working across multiple states (not just one)
• Ability to research and apply new state requirements independently
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Comfortable leading client conversations
• Availability during standard business hours for client and state communication
