Job Summary:
EXL Health is seeking an Audit Coordinator II – POD single point of contact to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this key role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a client-specific POD, managing inquiries related to medical record submissions, audit statuses, disputes, and clinical support throughout the audit lifecycle. You will collaborate with various internal teams—including Medical Records Management, Clinical, Provider Relations, and Post Audit—to ensure timely and accurate resolution of all outstanding issues. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of the audit process.



Responsibilities
  • Answer any POD inquiries via phone call and email within established TATs.
  • Coordinate responses with Operations Areas as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to email correspondence, both internal and external.
  • Prepare and review internal reports.
  • Interact with internal staff, Providers and POD Teams.
  • Ensure all audit issues are documented in the applicable program.
  • Escalate issues to management and handle Follow Up action as needed.
  • Review and process files received in exception folders.
  • Provide back-up scanning assistance to correspondence emailing as needed.
  • Provide back-up assistance to other Audit Coordinators as needed.
  • Comply with HIPAA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of information.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the audit process and/or company-wide programs.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service or call center experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented and solid problem-solving skills
  • Able to make recommendations to improve and streamline processes to make more efficient
  • Ability to positively and comfortably manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Possesses time management skills; exhibits solid ability to prioritize work and perform multi-tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation - $40,000 - $45,000 annually (DOQ)
