ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership
-
- Directs production operations across 2 owned and multiple tolled cleaning and treating sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality output and on-time delivery.
- Develops manufacturing, treating, and warehousing plans along with resource allocation and employee schedules to allow efficient treating and packaging across the network in collaboration with sales and logistics ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Strategic Planning

- Develops and executes long-term production strategies that align with company goals and corporate strategy.
- Development and execution of long term facilities plan to efficiently deliver best cost, highest quality product on time and in full to plan delivered from sales and marketing
- Strategic people resource planning ensuring resourcing utilized to y deliver through changing market conditions
Financial Accountability

- Manages operational budgets, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and P&L for manufacturing projects.
- Resource allocation for employee salaries, plant and company asset maintenance.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance and contract negotiations.
Performance Management (KPIs)

- Monitors and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, quality, safety, waste, and cost across all sites.
- Champions and leads implementation around production portions of sales and operational planning and execution processes to ensure on time delivery of quality product.
Standardization & Lean Manufacturing

- Implements standardized processes, procedures, and best practices across facilities to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service levels.
Safety & Compliance
-
- Champions a safety-first culture and ensures compliance with environmental, health, safety (EHS), and quality standards.
Team Development

- Coaches, mentors, and develops managers and local teams, fostering a culture of accountability and building current and future leaders to allow for cross organization development to ensure best in class workforce across RiceTec
EDUCATION
-
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, manufacturing, operations management, agriculture or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
-
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, with proven experience in multi-site management.
- Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, influence, and manage large, dispersed teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and ERP systems.
WORK, COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficient in computer applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
