About the Team

The Global Business Operations & Planning team sits at the center of eBay’s global commercial organization and plays a critical role in how the business runs. As trusted partners to eBay’s Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer we tackle complex, cross-functional challenges, drive alignment across regions and functions, and ensure the successful execution of eBay’s highest-priority initiatives.

We work closely with leaders across business units, product, and technology to shape operating rhythms, simplify decision-making, and accelerate execution.

The Role

We’re looking for a Global Business Operations Manager to join this high-impact team. In this role, you’ll help simplify operations, bring rigor to prioritization, and accelerate delivery across eBay’s most important initiatives. This is a highly visible position with regular exposure to senior leadership, where your insights and execution will directly influence business outcomes and how eBay operates at scale.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Establish and run executive-level operating cadences, including reporting, agendas, decision documentation, and follow-through tracking

  • Build and scale operational playbooks that drive consistency, efficiency, and execution quality

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end

  • Strengthen goal and performance management across the organization

  • Synthesize data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders

  • Champion operational excellence by simplifying processes and removing friction

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience, including time at a top-tier strategy consulting firm

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or technology is a plus

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$102,800 - C$137,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
