General labourer

Job Duties:

-Preparing job sites

-Setup and cleanup tasks at a job site

-Keeping job sites clean and organized to eliminate possible safety hazards

-Loading and unloading materials

-Utilize a variety of hand tools and machines

-Preparing materials and parts for installation

-Assist and provide labour support to team lead

-General maintenance of construction equipment

-Assist in assembling and repairing playground structures, signs etc.

-Any other duties as outlined by project manager

Skills and Requirements:

-Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

-Must have a strong work ethic and integrity

-Must have the ability to work in a team environment

-Should be comfortable using power tools (quick cut, chain saw etc.)

-Must be comfortable working in high-stress environments with extreme weather fluctuation

-Positive attitude and willingness to learn

-Organized and self-motivated

-Embraces continuous improvement

-Enjoys taking on challenges, solving problems and finding the best possible solution

-Completes tasks with a sense of urgency

-Ability to make structure plumb and square

-Works in co-operation with other team members to complete tasks as a unit

-Woodworking/carpentry skills considered an asset

Experience:

Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence:

Vehicle/transportation needed to get to office

Drivers License G an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
