Some of what you will do:
Performs manual and system tasks to support inbound and outbound furniture operations. Identifies and resolves issues in various functional areas; put away, staging, loading, shipping. Supports and assembles “make ready” furniture to support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Performs work under the direction of warehouse supervisor or manager
Specifically, you will:
Performs the following processes to support inbound and outbound furniture operations generated from Central Furniture System (CFS).
Receives vendor purchase orders, regular lines, special orders, or customer returns.
Performs inventory counts and location lookups.
Follows processes to report common daily discrepancies or issues (i.e., shortages, damage) to supervisor or order management.
Monitors and ensures CFS task completion within shift.
Picks and stages outbound orders as necessary on day shift.
Performs a variety of lookups and research to support functional areas.
Communicates non-routine CFS system issues to Application Support and/or management.
Performs the following non-system inbound and outbound tasks.
Separates and labels product received, stocks product into identified locations verifying SKU and quantity accuracy.
Assembles make-ready furniture and stages for delivery.
Coordinates with Furniture Sales Support to resolve items received that are not on purchase order.
Completes Receiving Discrepancy Tickets when vendor shipment is inaccurate. Informs Furniture Sales Support and Accounts Payable.
Picks and stocks product to complete replenishment tasks.
Picks product for customer orders ensuring quantity and unit-of-measure (UOM) picked is equal to quantity and UOM ordered.
Checks SKU and quantities picked for customer orders to ensure accuracy, and re-packages or wraps orders as needed.
Sorts and loads customer orders by route and delivery order.
May schedule vendor shipments.
Participates in all scheduled physical inventories.
Performs basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse.
Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

Proficient in warehouse operations and furniture product knowledge
Must be a team player
The job requires the ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment.
Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cherry pickers preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Need to have good PC, math, writing and reading skills.

Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of the job
The employee must frequently lift, move, and/or carry between 50 to 70 pounds.
The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
