The Fulfillment Center Associate plays an instrumental role in the realization of our organizational ambitions of providing a best-in-class customer and operations experience. The Fulfillment Center Associate works in our Studio. They will be trained as a multi-skilled contributor, moving between high-tech fulfillment zones or our creative studio space to ensure every item is processed, captured, and shipped on schedule. They have the opportunity to learn various tasks within their assigned process path, spanning inventory handling, merchandise readiness, and production support in a high-volume luxury e-commerce business.

In this role, you will

  • Endorse and adhere to SSENSE global health and safety standards, maintenance policies, and company guidelines.

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a physically active and dynamic environment

  • Fulfill operational requirements accurately and up to operating standards, within our Fulfillment Centre and/or Studio.

  • Execute inventory movements, including but not limited to receiving, putting away, counting, production samples, order fulfillment and customer returns.

  • Ensure merchandise readiness by handling products with care, performing quality control, and preparing items for their next process (e.g., assembly, packing, or steaming).

  • Interact with best-in-class technology, including mobile handheld devices, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and/or Studio workflow software.

  • Maintain data accuracy by viewing prompts on screens and following directions for system-generated tasks, ensuring physical and digital records match.

  • Flow merchandise efficiently through various departments (e.g. Photoshoot, Copywriting, or Shipping) to meet daily objectives and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Actively rotate across all process paths based on real-time business volume and priority.

You will need

  • Relevant experience in a high volume, high value, fast moving distribution/fulfillment center, manufacturing, operations, retail or hospitality environment, ideally a minimum of 3-6 months

  • Literacy in English and/or French, in be trained on and to follow Standard Operating Procedures

  • Computer literacy in English and/or French, in order to follow system-generated tasks

  • Excellent time management skills to execute on assigned tasks, respecting operational standards and deadlines

  • A passion for delivering great service to our customers

  • Work well within a team and communicate effectively and openly with others

  • Build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit, having fun and celebrating success

  • Be punctual, properly presented, ready to be a brand ambassador

  • Endurance to work in a physically active and dynamic environment

  • Flexibility to work one of our operating schedules (day, evening, night, or weekends)

  • Basic mathematical skills

Shift Availability

This is an On-Call position. You must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week. Schedules are subject to change and/or be reassigned based on business needs.

  • Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 6:30pm
