Field Procurement Coordinator II is an experienced professional with 3+ years prior procurement experience. This individual will have oversight of field procurement responsibilities. This position, depending on project size, may report to the Field Procurement Lead, Field Procurement Supervisor, or Director of Procurement.
Source and award field purchase orders per SOP and site-specific requirements
Develop and expand the project supplier list
Develop and manage relationships with existing and new suppliers
Research procurement history to benchmark field procurement efforts
Manage purchase order process from requisition through the delivery of goods or services
Attend necessary project meetings
Conduct bid reviews with the site team and suppliers
Negotiate suppliers for the best value
Look for cost savings and value-added opportunities with current or new supply base
Retain documents related to field procurement efforts including requisitions, specifications, correspondence, and acknowledgments as well as revisions
Develop and communicate award recommendations for bid packages
Participate and contribute to regular field procurement meetings
Maintain and develop knowledge of procurement applications including Oracle, PPMS, and other support software
Support the project field procurement mobilization and demobilization efforts
Support site Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) communication with suppliers and the project team
Communication skills - interface and communicate with the project and home office Management, reporting Staff, project Crafts, Expediting and Support Services
Coordinate surplus disposal at projects with Materials Management
Position requires an individual who is detailed orientated, organized, and result driven
Must be able to contribute in a positive way to a fast-paced project environment
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight
Support accounts payable in invoice reconciliation
*High School Diploma or GED - Required
**Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university - Preferred
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
