Job Summary

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and quality-driven service operations for a dedicated region within our national footprint. This role owns the central scheduling of planned maintenance, the accuracy of the asset database, the quality control of work orders, and hands-on support for new shop startups. The ideal candidate blends attention to data detail with operational savvy, turning information into action that improves uptime, reduces cost, and elevates the technician and customer experience.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize planned maintenance schedules to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, coordinate effectively with service teams, and drive full PM completion.
  • Maintain complete, accurate asset data within the computerized maintenance management system “CMMS” by enforcing standards, performing audits and data cleanup, and managing asset setup and validation during new site launches.
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant work orders by validating accuracy and coding, coaching stakeholders to prevent errors, and tracking rework and defect trends to drive operational improvements.
  • Support new shop launches by setting up service operations, configuring assets and CMMS, establishing schedules and vendor coverage, and delivering training to ensure full day-one service readiness.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years in service operations, maintenance coordination, material handling equipment fleet management, or related analytical support role.
  • Proven ability to coordinate schedules across multiple regions and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation discipline, and process orientation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to coach non-technical users.
  • Hands-on experience with a CMMS/EAM platform
  • Experience in multi-site field service (automotive/heavy equipment, facilities, industrial services, or similar).
  • Familiarity with SalesForce, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Project coordination experience supporting new site openings or transitions.
  • Travel up to 40%
