DescriptionClean Harbors is looking for a Field Operations Manager for the Oilsands Region. This person will be responsible for organizing, planning, and coordinating day to day operations and field personnel to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations.

Responsibilities- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all corporate and regulatory requirements
- Lead by example in safe work practices and risk mitigation
- Conduct field observations, audits, and incident reviews
- Ensure personnel are properly trained, equipped, and supported
- Own regional financial performance including:
- Budget development and management
- Revenue forecasting
- Profit & Loss oversight
- Cost control and margin management
- Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining service quality
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations and emergency response activities
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources effectively
- Ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations
- Support mobilization and demobilization planning
- Serve as a key operational contact for client representatives
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Communicate proactively regarding project progress and performance
- Lead and mentor supervisors and field personnel
- Establish performance expectations and accountability standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
Qualifications- 5+ years of Management experience
- Experience with managing and forecasting budgets.
- Ability to manage change, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and understand issues and resolve/address strategically.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of Corporate Safety & Compliance Policies.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
