DescriptionThe Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field activities to ensure operational efficiency, quality service delivery, and effective team performance. This role manages field personnel, coordinates logistics, ensures compliance with safety standards, and drives continuous improvement across field operations.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Oversee day‑to‑day field operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational processes that improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Allocate resources, tools, and equipment to field teams based on workload and priorities.
- Monitor operational metrics and prepare performance reports.
Team Leadership & Training
- Manage, lead, and motivate field technicians and supervisors.
- Conduct regular training to ensure teams follow technical, safety, and customer service protocols.
- Coach employees to support performance improvement and professional development.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling field staff.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all field activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct field audits to verify quality, adherence to procedures, and proper documentation.
- Address service issues and implement corrective actions.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to field activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, operations, and customer service to drive smooth workflows.
- Provide updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and trends.
Project Coordination
- Plan and oversee field projects, ensuring on‑time completion within scope and budget.
- Coordinate materials, labor, and scheduling for upcoming work.
- Anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in field operations, logistics, or service management.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in field management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours depending on operational demands.
