Facility Operations Manager

Clean Harbors located in Belpre, OH is looking for a Facility Operations Manager to join their safety conscious team. The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for management of all plant operations such as oversee plant operations. 

Pay: $70,000-75,000 DOE & 15% annual bonus potential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee multiple site-specific plant operations such as: d

  rum pumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, wastewater treatment, fuels blending, shredder operations, inventory and waste tracking scanning application, and proper warehousing requirements;

• Oversee 4-5 direct reports;
• Ensure proper waste routing and management according to specified efficiencies;
• Analyze and reviews profitability of facility in conjunction with the Director;

• Ensure that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures. Holds employees accountable;

   

• Develop daily production goals for multiple groups and ensures execution;

   

• Review all applicable SOP’s;

• Understand and drive Clean Compliance standard;

   

• Emphasize productivity, health & safety, compliance and customer satisfaction;
• Ensure that each project has an operating plan and that facility personnel follow it;
• Perform onsite supervision, training and mentoring of employees;
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?

• Bachelor's degree is preferred;
• 5+ years of related experience is required;
• Experience working in a chemical plant, wastewater treatment plant, or related industrial plant is preferred;
• Knowledge of waste disposal regulations is a plus.
