Who are we hiring?
The Warehouse Lead supports the Warehouse Supervisor in the daily operations of warehouse and beverage distribution. This role assists with coordinating receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of food, beverage, and merchandise products. The Warehouse Lead serves as a working leader responsible for guiding warehouse team members, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety and food handling standards. This position requires strong computer knowledge to manage inventory systems, requisitions, and operational documentation.
What will you do?
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily warehouse and beverage distribution operations.
- Lead and support warehouse team members in receiving, storing, and distributing food and beverage products.
- Ensure deliveries are checked for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
- Verify products against purchase orders and invoices and report discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory control, product rotation (FIFO), and stock organization.
- Utilize warehouse and inventory systems to input receiving, track inventory, and process requisitions.
- Help coordinate daily work assignments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Assist with training new team members in warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate operational issues, shortages, or inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Support preparation and distribution of products for various food and beverage locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and keg lifters when required.
What do you need to succeed?
- 2–4 years of warehouse experience, preferably in food distribution, beverage operations, or food service environments.
- Previous lead or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Experience with warehouse management systems, receiving documentation, and requisition processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper product procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Special Requirements
- General physical requirements include pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 100 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending and constant motion are often required.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments including cooler or storage areas.
- May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Must be able to work any shift including early mornings, evenings, or overnight shifts.
- Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations and proper food handling certifications.
- Adheres to TEAM training guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license, required to pick up & transport product.
