The Role:

As our Experienced Confectionary/Beverage Buyer, you'll be the mastermind behind our product selection. You'll source unique candies, craft sodas, and quirky snacks from around the globe, negotiate with vendors, and ensure our stores are stocked with irresistible goodies that keep customers coming back.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify trending and nostalgic products that align with our brand
• Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize margins
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product mix
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams on product launches
• Attend trade shows, candy expos, and industry events to scout new finds
• Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and replenishment cycles
• Ensure compliance with food safety and import regulations

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in retail buying, preferably in food, beverage, or novelty categories
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Passion for candy, soda, and pop culture trends
• Excellent analytical and forecasting abilities
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and Excel
• Ability to travel occasionally for sourcing and events
• A sharp eye for what sells
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software (EDI Systems).
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and collaborate with warehouse personnel on incoming and outgoing shipments and purchase orders

Full-Time position requiring 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-site work located in Robinson Township, PA at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center.
