Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Driver and Warehouse Support Worker role based in Red Deer, AB. The person in this role will safely operate company vehicles to deliver first aid and safety products to customers on scheduled routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading vehicles, checking orders against packing lists, and maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation. In the warehouse, responsibilities include receiving and organizing inventory, restocking shelves, assisting with order picking and packing, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. The role also involves basic vehicle safety checks, reporting maintenance needs, and providing courteous, professional service when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating light commercial vehicles or cargo vans.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and safely moving boxes and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a warehouse and delivery environment.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members.
  • Basic familiarity with workplace safety practices; first aid or safety industry experience is an asset.
  • Comfort using basic tools, warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks), and simple digital or paper-based tracking systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training related to logistics, warehousing, or safety products is an advantage.
