As the District Operations Manager for our Tractor Trailer team, you will lead a team of frontline managers and their staff to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable tractor‑trailer operations. Your goal will be to provide clear direction, coach leaders, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence. You will oversee scheduling and deployment of resources to meet customer needs while optimizing asset utilization, controlling costs, and driving continuous improvement. Your success will come from strong relationships with employees, frontline leaders, customers, and cross‑functional partners. This role is ideal for a people‑first leader who excels in fast‑paced operations and can balance daily execution with long‑term operational improvement.

Your Responsibilities:
Practice and promote a ‘Safety-as-a-way-of-life’ mindset in all aspects of the operation by holding managers and employees accountable to adhere to all safety policies, processes and procedures
Conveys a sense of urgency and moves issues to closure through effective planning and prioritizing of activities
Develop and empower frontline managers to build high‑performing teams
Manage the day-to-day tractor trailer operations focusing on equipment service, distribution, and storage activities
Monitor and analyze performance data, identify areas needing improvement, and develop strategies to optimize operations
Ensure business reliability through managing all health, safety and environmental programs and issues in region
Drive operational discipline through planning, coaching, and performance management
Achieve financial performance metrics for your district
Optimize fleet utilization, cost efficiency, and overall service performance
Your Skills:

Your Experience:
Post-secondary education in business, logistics or a related field. Equivalent education and/or experience will also be considered
5-10+ years of experience in industry related management preferred
2-5+ years of experience managing budgets, KPIs, performance improvement initiatives, and safety-focused
