Agropur is looking for a Distribution and Logistics Analyst to join its team in St-Hubert.

As a Distribution and Logistics Analyst, you will play a strategic role within our team by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of our transportation and warehousing operations. You will collect and interpret key data, develop tools to support decision-making, and propose concrete improvements to optimize costs, routes, and space utilization. Through your analyses, you will contribute to budget planning, service level compliance, and the continuous improvement of logistical efficiency.

  • Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

 

What this role involves:

More specifically, as a Distribution and Logistics Analyst, your responsibilities include:

  • Collect and analyze data related to delivery times, costs, carrier performance, and route efficiency.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (e.g., on-time deliveries, cost per unit, damage rates, warehouse performance).

  • Design dashboards and reports to support decision-making and drive improvements.

  • Analyze transportation and warehousing expenses and identify savings opportunities through consolidation and route optimization.

  • Support transportation budget planning and forecasting.

  • Contribute to defining requirements for carrier and warehouse RFPs in collaboration with the procurement team.

  • Ensure compliance with processing timelines for inbound and outbound flows (comparing third‑party provider data to category benchmarks).

  • Ensure stock levels align with pallet space capacity.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key indicators (warehouse productivity, OTIF, space utilization, and capacity forecasts).

  • Provide monthly reports and actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams.

 

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field;

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered;

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;

  • APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CITT certifications (an asset);

  • Strong communication, technical, and analytical skills;

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
