Distribution Hub Team Lead (Afternoons 12pm - 8:30pm)

Our client is seeking a dependable Bilingual Afternoon Distribution Lead to oversee outbound operations during the afternoon shift. English is required for daily communication, documentation, and team coordination.

Compensation: Salary: $52k-$56k (Hourly: $25 - $27/hr)

What You’ll Do

As the Afternoon Distribution Lead, you will support the smooth and accurate flow of outbound shipments while working hands-on alongside the warehouse team. You will help ensure that freight leaves on time, safety standards are upheld, and team members are supported throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate picking, checking, and loading of outbound orders for regional locations and customers.
• Ensure all shipping documentation, freight routing tasks, and loading procedures are completed properly.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Lading for outbound trucks.
• Confirm transport vehicles are loaded safely and ready for scheduled departures.
• Monitor daily outbound orders to ensure on-time processing and shipment.
• Lead and support warehouse associates through hands-on involvement in daily tasks.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to maintain consistent productivity.
• Provide training, guidance, and reinforcement of best practices.
• Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems to manage picking and shipping processes.
• Review operational reports to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain safety compliance and reinforce warehouse safety procedures.
• Support end-of-day responsibilities, including facility checks and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small warehouse team.
• Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, RF scanning, and shipping documentation.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and standard computer systems.
• Ability to complete a criminal background screening.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically active warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Clear communication skills in English.
